A Dalyan day is not one single sight. The river route, rock tombs, the Kaunos area and Iztuzu Beach connect within the same landscape, giving the day a mix of boat travel, open air and history.
Iztuzu forms a natural barrier between the Dalyan River delta and the Mediterranean and is a protected loggerhead turtle nesting area. Wildlife sightings are never guaranteed — respectful behaviour is part of the experience.
Local note: in hotter months bring water, a hat and sun protection. With younger children, consider the total length of the day.
